LEGAL STUFF LLC

Estate Planning

Start-To-Finish, Full Service Company

Legal Stuff LLC offers a full range of estate planning services to help you protect your assets, designate beneficiaries, and ensure your wishes are honored. Our approach includes:

  • Last Will and Testament
    • A will outlines how your assets should be distributed and names guardians for any dependent children.
    • Without a will, courts determine asset distribution and guardianship, which may not reflect your wishes.
    • Note: Beneficiary designations on accounts and policies override wills, so keep these up to date.
  • Advanced Directives
    • Includes Power of Attorney, Living Will, and HIPAA documents to ensure your healthcare preferences are respected.
    • Each state may have specific requirements, so if you reside in multiple states, it’s crucial to complete the necessary documents for each.
    • These directives do not expire and remain in effect until replaced by a new directive.
  • Notary Services
    • Our Arizona Notary Public services provide an impartial witness for the signing of important documents.
    • We are commissioned by the Secretary of State to perform notarial acts, ensuring document validity in accordance with Arizona statutes.

Legal Stuff LLC’s estate planning services provide peace of mind by helping you navigate and customize the protections you need for your assets and loved ones.

 LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT

A will is a legal document that lets you tell the world who should receive which of your assets after your death. It also allows you to name guardians for any dependent children. Without a will, the courts decide what happens to your assets and who is responsible for your kids.    Wills do have limitations. In particular, the beneficiary designations on financial accounts, insurance policies and other assets take precedence over wills, so it’s important to make sure your beneficiary designations are up to date and reflect your wishes.

ADVANCED DIRECTIVES

 Power of Attorney and Living Will; HIPPA documents;

One state’s advance directive does not always work in another state.  If you spend a significant amount of time in more than one state, you should complete the advance directives for all the states you spend a significant amount of time in.

Advance directives do not expire. An advance directive remains in effect until you change it. If you complete a new advance directive, it invalidates the previous one.
